The IKONOS data hosted by TRFIC for SAFARI 2000 were acquired as part of the Wet Season SAFARI 2000/SAVE campaigns, coordinated through the MODIS Land Validation Team. IKONOS data are owned by Space Imaging Corporation, and are therefore, commercial data. These particular scenes are licensed to NASA's Stennis Space Center Scientific Data Purchase Project (SDP) and can be used by NASA-affiliated scientists. As a part of our data hosting service to SAFARI 2000 researchers, TRFIC has agreed to make these scenes available to the authorized SAFARI 2000 science community. The IKONOS data we distribute may only be used on SAFARI 2000 related research. We request that users of the data acknowledge the SAFARI 2000 Project, the NASA Stennis Space Center Scientific Data Purchase Project, and the Tropical Rain Forest Information Center at Michigan State University. YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED SAFARI 2000 PARTICIPANT TO ORDER THESE DATA. Please take some time to read the terms and conditions of the Space Imaging End User License Agreement (EULA).
