Users can view and download data products derived from the analysis of Landsat MSS and TM satellite data. These products are the scientific results of land use and land cover change research conducted at the Tropical Rain Forest Information Center (TRFIC) at Michigan State University. The goal of this research is the spatial and temporal analyses of tropical forests and tropical forest dynamics through empirical observations of South America and Southeast Asia using high-resolution satellite data.
   

Data products from years around 1973,1986,and 1992 can be viewed and downloaded on a scene-by-scene basis. Details about these data can be found here.

1km, 8km, and 16km products. These products have been derived from the full resolution Landsat data. The data file is an ASCII flat file containing 3 columns. Column #1 is the easting/westing Sinusoid meters, Column #2 is the northing/southing Sinusoid meters, and Column #3 is the cover type area.

Data products from 1992 can be viewed and downloaded in full resolution in map sheets arrange according to the Brazilian DSG system of 3x6 degree sheets.
